STRADE BIANCHE 2020  AMICI BICI EVENT

 

Thursday (tbc) March 2020- Sunday (tbc) March 2020: 

 

Catch a Thursday evening flight to Pisa. We pick you up from the airport and drop you at your accommodation. Time permitting, we'll take a spin to get used to the area and the legs ready for one of the most epic bike tours in Italy!

 

Friday you can ride the full route, around 190 km, of which about one third is on the traditional white dusty Tuscan roads while the rest is on tarmac. There is a shorter route option.

Riding on the Friday, the day before means that the roads are in the best condition, in preparation for the race on Saturday. We'll take a couple of cafe stops to sample the delicious Tuscan food and coffee, before making our way back to the accommodation late afternoon.

 

Saturday- the big day! We ride out to watch the action on two fabulous climbs before heading back for a quick shower and change (time permitting) and then in to the centre of Siena to watch the finish. You'll soak up the atmosphere with a couple of well earned apperitivi as the sun goes down. The perfect end to the perfect short break in Siena!

 

Sunday, transport to the airport. Option of a short ride if time allows.
