A 6 day cycling tour taking in the best of Liguria and the surrounding areas. 7 nights BnB* accomodation included. 
 
Suggested itinerary- all itineraries differ according on weather, ability and group preferences:
 
Saturday: Meet and greet at Nice Airport, transfer to your accommodation and settle in, we will give you recommendations for drinks and dinner. 
 
If you are hiring bikes we'll take you collect the bikes and check them over for fit etc. If you arrive early Saturday, you can take a spin along the famous 24km cycle path. If you arrive late, we can collect the bikes the following morning.
 
Sunday day 1: A warm up along the costal cycle path going as far as Ventimiglia, then inland to the ancient and picturesque town of Dolceqaua.
 
After taking in the scenes over a coffee, climbing begins up to Apricale and up to the moutain top village of Bajardo. Here, we are rewarded with some of the most stunning views in the area and an amazing 25km descent into Badalucco.
 
Next we spin further west to Laigueglia for lunch on the beach before heading back along the undulating coastal road into Sanremo for a well earned apperativo. (Approximately 140km, 2400m elevation)
 
Monday day 2: Heading along the cycle path from Sanremo then turning up towards Badalucco. Here the big climb starts with a long winding road with hairpin sections up to Carpasio, passing through beautfiul mountain villages such as Montalto Ligure.
 
After a cafe stop, the climbing continues to San Bernardo di Conio.  Here we have a beautiful long descent into Pieve di Teco for lunch. Then along through the valley bottom to the coast of Albenga before picking up the famous Riviera di Fiori coastal road with options of climbing the famous Cipressa and Poggio on the way home to Sanremo. (Approximately 150km, 2000m elevation)
 
Tuesday day 3: Coastal road across the border and into France to Menton. A stunning climb up to the quaint French village of Sospel. A cafe stop to take in the beautiful mountain scenes before another glorious climb back up to Breil-sur-roya. Crossing back into Italy enjoying the tranquil, breathtaking views, we head east across the mountain villages of Airole, Trucco, Dolceaqua and Perinaldo dropping back down into Sanremo. (Approximately 180km, 3000m elevation)
 
Wednesday day 4: A lovely one keep the legs turning over. Heading east along the coast road to Sportono for lunch before heading back using the famous final leg of the Milano - Sanremo route. (Approximately 200km, elevation 1500m)
 
Thursday day 5: Climbing up to Poggio from Sanremo, through Ceriana and further on to Bajardo and Monte Ceppo. The reward is a tremendous descent into Castel Vittorio. A gormet tasting menu for lunch before climbing up and out of Castel back into the hilltops for more stunning and uninterupted views. Arriving the the crossroads in Bajardo again for a glorious descent with sweeping hairpin bends all the way into Sanremo. (Approximately 100km, 3000m elevation)
 
Friday day 6: Climbing up to San Romolo through sweeping, hairpin bends, up to Bajardo and then across to the beautiful little village of Vignai. Dropping down into Badalucco and then further inland to Molini di Triora before forking off towards Rezzo, Vasilico and then on to the coast of Albenga where we meet the beautiful coastal road back into Sanremo for one last time! (Approximately 160km 3500m elevation)
 
Saturday day 7: Return transfer to Nice Airport
 
*The accomodation for your stay will depend on the number of people in your group but be assured it will be central and comfortable and either a hotel, BnB or self catered apartment.
